Our History

Big Wheel Novelties, Inc. was incorporated in April of 1983. It began as a very small family business concentrating on selling stuffed animals to the local school fair and festivals. They all had a game of chance called the "Big Wheel" where a wheel was spun and the winner would win a stuffed animal. Thus the name "Big Wheel" was used. Little did we know that we would diversify and carry all the many products we do now.

We kept the name "Big Wheel" because of the local recognition it has given us, but of course, we have grown into many areas of products and services over the years. The owners are Louisiana natives since 1931. They know lots about the traditions and culture of Louisiana.
